Cecilia Pulido

Cecilia Pulido has been a leader in the natural health and fitness field since the early 1990s. Her multidisciplinary credentials include over 23 years of training in PaKua Chinese Style Arts & Sciences, Hatha and Iyengar Yoga, eight years as a TRX educator, and certification as a kettlebell master trainer. She is a Level 3 ELDOA instructor and has practiced Pilates since 2008, completing Polestar’s Comprehensive Mat and Comprehensive Mat & Apparatus programs under the mentorship of Pilates elder Lolita San Miguel. Cecilia holds an M.S. in Applied Exercise Science/Human Movement Science with specializations in scoliosis/spinal asymmetry and Parkinson’s disease. Drawing on decades of Parkinson’s expertise and ongoing neuroscience study, she developed the evidence‑based Pilates 4 Parkinson’s Method to help individuals at all stages of PD preserve movement independence. Through Pilates 4 Parkinson’s, Cecilia delivers in‑depth training to Pilates instructors and movement professionals—both internationally and across the United States—empowering them to support people living with Parkinson’s disease. Her signature program also benefits seniors, post‑rehabilitation clients, and anyone seeking a safe, effective approach to fluid movement. Pilates 4 Parkinson’s is dedicated to delivering high‑quality, research‑backed education; bringing Pilates‑based exercise programming to the Parkinson’s community; and raising awareness of the vital role Pilates instructors play in PD care.
